Pros:
Best in class lock with the highest IP rating of IP65. Requires double entry of a new user code which prevents accidental lockout. Manual key override eliminates risk of electronic failure which could otherwise result in user lockout. Water resistance is a built in feature.
Cheaper than other options.
Stainless steel buttons provide a touch of class and added durability. Significantly better batter performance than it's counterpart, the KL1000.
Large, easy to use lock face with genuine touch technology which feels nice to the user. Reprogramming locks is faster than the compared models.
Cons:
None to speak of.
Lacks several features that are standard in the other options such as audible keypad and automatic unlock timer. Below average battery life. Water resistance is provided through the addition of a gasket only.
Water resistance is provided through the addition of a gasket only. IP rating of IP54 is the lowest out of the available options.
Slide bolt locks are less durable mechanisms than rotating cam locks. Requires a software package and master-key / programming wand to truly take advantage of the re-programmable options.
